Hey, what does anonymous_object love? Lucky Star? Kagami? Ping pong! That’s right. Here I have two super cute Lucky Star figures from Wave’s Beach Queen series. Thought I’d share some pics. Care to take a look? ^^
First up is cute little otaku girl Konata. Yes, on this rare occasion she is not wearing her school mizugi. Instead she has on this cute orange swimsuit and has her long hair braided up. Pretty cute, wouldn’t you agree? ^^
And sure, Konata is nice and all but the real star is, of course, Kagamin! She is sporting a cute, though perhaps a bit daring for her personality, star-themed bikini swimsuit. She was pretty excited to go to the beach and has float and is enjoying a popsicle at the same time ^^;
So, water float + popsicle or nekokoneko beach ball?
Super tough decision, I know. But how could you resist Kagami? ;)
I’ve been a fan of Wave’s recent Beach Queen’s figure series. They’re small (~1/9 or 1/10 scale), they affordable, and most importantly, they’re really quite cute! They’re really not bad quality either. They certainly can’t compare to a standard scale PVC figure when it comes to paint quality but the sculpts have all been good and the poses are appealing. Oh yeah, and they’re wearing swimsuits. Yeah ^^;
Possibly the best feature of these two figures is that they’re just meant to be together! Konata and Kagami’s poses are designed such that they can be placed together for a super cute hug scene xD Kagami’s embarrassed, blushing face with Konata’s sly wink ;-) In case you didn’t catch it, they also come with optional parts to change their appearance. Konata comes with an alternate winking face (shown here) and Kagami comes with her dango hairstyle (in place of the twintails).
In fact, this interlocking (heehee) pose was inspired by an official artwork from the series. Perhaps you’ve seen it on an image board before? Last spring I picked up this wallscroll at a nearby convention. I think it was a good decision :3
Why go to the beach if you don’t go swimming? ^^

I only have this Kagami at home, maybe I don’t want to share her with Konata XD In the Lucky Star show she always was my favorite, Konata not so much.
But they look great together, its really cute:)
The quality of my Kagami is very well, the paintjob looks really clean as well as the sculpting of her.
Konata looks also nice in your pictures, I love the twink face
If I could get her for cheap, I would let her play with Kagami

I really liked Wave Lucky Star figures until they released the Kagami/Tsukasa set of them in their uniforms. I was disappointed with them and felt they weren’t worth the MSRP. Haven’t bought any Wave figures since, but I’m sure they could lure me back with some impressive prototype photos. As for Konata and Kagami in Swim Gear I pre-ordered the SEGA prize figures of them at the beach :)
Hmmm, you’re referring to the 1/12 scale Kagami and Tsukasa? I actually really liked those figures ^^; Though they were a bit pricey for their size. I have the Sega Kagami but wasn’t impressed with the others enough to buy them. The new swimwear figures are tempting. Still contemplating whether to order them… ^^;

ich hatte mal genau dasgleiche problem, aber es gibt eine lösung dafür rede mit ihm. sag ihm was du für ihn empfindest, sag aber gleich, dass falls er nicht so für dich empfindet, er die ganze sahce vergessen soll und du weiter mit ihm befreundet bleiben willst. er versteht das sicher und vl fühlt er ja geausound falls nicht, dann wirst du bestimmt trotzdem noch siene beste freudnin sein. wegen so etwas will er dich schließlich nicht verlieren.
Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and everything. But think of if you added some great images or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this website could definitely be one of the best in its niche and you must add more topics like . Excellent blog!

Love these two figures for the same fact, that they can be posed together like in the original artwork which is quite lovely. Of course, do adore the slight yuri undertones.
Yeah, Wave did a great job making them pose together. And they actually look pretty good separate as well :)
I think I have that same exact wall scroll somewhere in my room lol. Love that Kagami comes with her hair in a bun. Kagami is definitely the better of the two :P. Though I’m just biased because I love Kagami the best lol. They’re really well done figures from Wave.
