New outfits for FREEing 1/4 Lucky Star set

By , August 29, 2009 1:14 am

Hey, look at this ^^  At the ongoing Chara Hobby 2009 event, FREEing displayed new, alternative outfits for their 1/4 scale Lucky Star figures.  Konata was released last month and Kagami will be out in a few days.  By default, all the figures come with gym uniforms but it looks like we’ll have the option to pick up cheerleader, miko, and winter serafuku outfits as well!

So awesome!  It now makes perfect sense why they designed the figures to be (mostly safe) cast-offable ^^  Buy the figure once and you’ll have the ability to dress it in multiple sets of clothing :)  It seems the cheerleader outfit will be the first one released.  Now we just need some details on pricing and release dates.

Will probably be more interesting goodies shown at Chara Hobby later ^^

I really love this idea~ I can’t wait to get the girls myself, though I personally don’t like Kagami’s expression; it doesn’t really fit her character imo. Konata and Tsukasa however look like how they would pose XD

On a side note, is it okay if I put you in the blogroll of my blog?

  2. Oh, you’re getting the figures too? Yay ^^
I’m a bit skeptical about Kagami’s appearance too but will wait until I have for full judgment.

You can add me to your blogroll, thanks. I will check out your site as well :)

  3. […] New clothes for FREEing’s Lucky Star figures Now that’s a nice idea, releasing clothes for their figures to wear. In case you do not know, FREEing will release the four main girls of Lucky Star in 1/4 scale! Konata is out and Kagami should be ready to ship in a couple of days. The girls wear real clothes and at Chara Hobby 2009, they announced new costumes for them to wear. I guess this is the closest you can get to Dolfie with normal PVC figures~ Source […]

Oh, this does make the Freeing “Lucky Star” figures much more attractive and versatile. In fact makes them a nice (and cheaper) alternative for say a Dollfie ball jointed doll mimicked to resemble a “Lucky Star” character.

Wonder what the prices will be like…

Thats actually a pretty badass idea.
I never thought of the sports outfits as attractive but the other ones are kinda nifty
