About

This blog is written and maintained by anonymous_object.
I am an avid fan of most things Japanese and run a few fan-based sites such as e-shuushuu. My interest in Japanese culture in general began with watching the Ghost in the Shell movie (probably not a good anime to start with >_<) and has expanded beyond anime over the years. Currently, I’m interested in anime related art and collect artbooks and doujinshi.  I’m also exploring a new interest in figures ^^.  During my college years, I studied the Japanese language on the side and while I can read common kanji and converse at basic level, there is still much I would like to learn.

Aside from my interests in Japanese related things, I am also a computer enthusiast and hold a degree in Network Engineering Technology. I enjoy learning and playing with new technology and this may show up in my blog on occasion ;-) I maintain and administer the servers hosting the shuushuu and kawaii-radio sites as well as several others. I’m a big fan of the GNU/Linux OS which is what all of my webservers currently use.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me by email or one of the many forms of IM I use (if you can find my screenames!). I hope to hear from you!

email? I can’t seem to find a link to use this option so I’ll ask my question here:
Is the 1:4 scale Kagami comparable to the MSDG/MDD sized Dollfies from Volks?

I’m considering buying a few outfits from Volks I believe will fit, but I can’t find any relationship to the two types of figures (MDD comes close in height to these figures).

Also, do the shoes of these figures come off? (I suppose I’ll find out once the figures get here :P)

    Thanks!

I don’t have a MDD so I can’t say for sure. Even if the clothes were about the right size, you may not be able to put them on the 1/4 scale LS figures due to how they are posed. I found just putting on some of the FREEing alternate outfits to be difficult ^^; But it’s worth a try I suppose. Good luck with it!

This is good to know. Tsukasa and Yukata just came in yesterday, so I suppose the next step is to plunge in.

Thanks for the info! I’ll keep you posted. :)

    Hi PetrifiedJello,

My name is Catherine Meyers, I’m the admin of a web blog directory, while reading your blog and it’s reviews and articles about figures and anime merchandise, I was wondering if you might be interested in a link exchange (no money involved), I would add your blog in my directory so my visitors will also visit your site and in exchange you add my website to your blogroll or links. Please let me know if you are interested and the best of luck with Cool and Spicy.

    Cheers!

I was just wondering whatever happened to Kawaii-Radio? I know it was a huge undertaking, but its departure was so sudden. I just want to know the story.

I’ve been searching on-line in excess of 3 hours currently, yet I never uncovered any intriguing document similar to the one you have. It’s charming worth ample for me. For me, if perhaps almost all internet marketers and web owners built good content material because you likely does, the online world may be a great deal more practical than any other time.
