Just a quick status update. And no, I haven’t forgotten about my blog despite my lack of decent posts recently ^^; Yep, I’m still around though I certainly understand Optic’s reasoning for taking a break of his own. I’ve also been a bit distracted with other things. Work has been busier than usual and I’ve been spending more of my free time trying different things. I’ve started reading more for one thing. And I don’t just mean manga although that certainly is part of it ^^;
Actually, I have to admit I’m currently reading the Harry Potter books, a series I’ve avoided for years. It’s not as bad as I expected from the movies ^^; I’m also simultaneously reading the Mass Effect novels. Yes, I’m a total geek :D
Let’s see… I’ve got a couple figure reviews coming up soon. I think I’ll have the first out within a day or two. In addition, I’ve got got quite a few pre-ordered figures being released this month so I know I will be busy with that soon enough :).
Comiket 76 also just wrapped up last week and I’ve got a small (however expensive) stash of doujinshi goodies heading my way in a few weeks time. Look forward to some pretty girl pictures to ogle at ^^.
So, that’s what’s going with me. I will be posting more of my usual boring content soon enough ^^
And lastly, I still need to finish my Italy travelogue. *kicks self for not doing it sooner*
Whether it’s school or work, our blogs always become the victim. :P

How very true >_<
Gotta agree with sonic_ver2 here. lol
It’s because we don’t get paid to do this and it’s coming out of our free time. Heck, me talking or reviewing a figure doesn’t get me that figure but grinding at work over a shitty task get’s me paid for it.
One of the reasons why I needed a break was because I make a few too many consecutive posts and i burnt out quickly.
Lesson learnt. :)

Not only do we not get paid, we have to pay to get a lot of the stuff we post about. Figures and artbooks aren’t cheap xD Of course, it’s a lot more fun to be able to share your hobby with others so it’s not so bad.
Spent some time hunting for C76 books too though tried to keep it reasonable. First though to only get one but quickly succumbed and got a total of four, but called it quits at that.
Got a lot of pre-orders in the pipeline too, but fear I’ll have to cancel some as the budget is going crazy, especially with recent figure prices…

I believe I purchased 9 or 10 items at C76. Spent a bit more money than I would have liked, but there were a lot of tempting goodies at this Comic Market ^^;
Cant wait to see those figures :P
Ive been pretty lazy with updating aswell.Good Weather,New Videogames and alot of Work distracted me aswell
Seems to be happening to a lot of people recently >_<

There are 2 Mass Effect novels. I’m almost finished with the first one which is a prequel to the game. Focused on David Anderson ^^ I believe the second novel takes place after the events in the first game.
I wish I did have more time! I’m also trying to learn tennis and have been playing a few times a week. There’s just not enough time in a week to do everything I want to do >_<
